History of CELLLLLPHONES

In Social Studies we are learning about technology and how it has changed over the years... We also did "how much do people spend on their devices" here are the results.....

* My* ( spelling mistake)

In conclusion I think that our class did pretty good with our hours on are a device, At least no one actually did the whole 72 hours because that would mean that no-one had slept and they would most likely be sick right now.

Teamwork:
My group worked well together there is one person that didn't know what to do so he was just standing there but he did help to make the forming shape. I think one of our members was doing a good job, he knows what he was doing and he was a good person to work with.

Outcome:
In the review, we had feedback from the staff members.

One Teacher said this: " It was very delicious, very nice, but it was just lacking some flavour"

My Feedback: It was really nice a fresh , warm and soft. I would be better if they were crispy

Schools should get rid of Uniform? (Debate Topic) - English

Schools should get rid of uniform?

Would you imagine if your child got lost in a school field trip and they got reported missing? Imagine if your teenage daughter exits the house only wearing a crop top, and high shorts revealing everything God gave her?  Or even when your child is being recognized for doing something right for our country? Whatever your opinion or situation is schools shouldn’t lose their school uniform for educational purposes, what I mean by that is….

Say you were on a school field trip and you got lost in the petting zoo and there is a crowd of adults with their kids, you get lost and you start wondering around trying to find someone that looks familiar but it seems like you can’t find anyone. In this scenario, it is really important to have a school uniform because it’s going to be easy finding your school plus if you get reported missing they can describe you. Some people can easily find another person from school but others can’t.

One day your teenage daughter isn’t your little princess/ baby anymore because she walked out of the house in a crop top, high shorts which are revealing a lot of her body, No one wants to see a girl that shows too much. If your child's school doesn’t have a uniform , they can abuse that and dress about inappropriately. These generation girls that are pre-teens and teens wear clothes that are either too high or revealing and in my opinion, makes me cringe because to think that girls that are younger than me are wearing clothes that reveal too much, to me they're still a little baby and it just looks wrong :(

Your child is on a school convention and they have just won a trophy and the announcer said “ Hello, and what school do you go to?”  because she/he is confused. When you get an achievement normally your parent takes a photo of you next to your trophy wearing your uniform but if you have no uniform on it looks unpresentable. Here's another one, say your child saw some rubbish on the ground and they picked it up, someone saw it and they wanted to tell your school that on of their students picked up rubbish but they can’t so they just ignored it. Some adult likes to say to you good things you are doing in the world.

As you can see from this information that school uniforms shouldn’t be taken away because of your child/ school mate could get lost and can’t find anyone from there school, that your teenage child is dressing up in revealing clothing, and that of your child got recognized for something great they are doing for the school.

Aboriginal Boomerangs- Social Studies

Boomerangs

In Social Studies we are on the topic of Migration a so we have been studying everything about it and what it is. Further on in the topic, we got to choose between Aboriginal Boomerangs or Refugees so I decided to do the boomerang one because I felt like I wasn't intelligent enough to know what the topic is.

The inspiration behind my design is Kaiden and I just looked up Aboringanail designs and so I drew suns ( One side had red flames around it and the other one is like orange fire). The black represents just lines.

What have I learnt?:
They come in all different shapes and sizes because it’s all depending on their geographic or tribal origins and intended function. People say that Australia made the first one BUT they were spotted in ancient Europe, Egypt, and North America. It helped the indigenous people hunt for stuff. That the boomerang can be used as a sport and also for entertainment.

English: Another World - Diversity

What does Diversity mean to me?: My definition is diffrent backgrounds and culture.

What did you already know? : I knew some writing styles when we were doing essays

What did you learn this year? : How to make a good structured essays

Diversity meaning people of all different backgrounds and culture. So in English this year we have been learning about people from different worlds eg Silent voice. Silent voice is a Japanese movie that is about this guy bullying a girl that is deaf. This helped me learn that don't bully anyone if you don't know their story or background. When I came into English I knew some different writing styles BUT out of this year so far I have learnt how to make good structured essays.

What have I done this term? - Home Economics

This Term we have been learning about " My Family Food Bag" to more specific in the topic we learned Neutral labels, Budgeting, and Dietary needs.

Here is my work:
https://drive.mindmup.com/map/1p3xSL5_PgMU_UETNYrXX_8hf8UNS_HoO

Questions about the Profiling task:

Who was your profile target?: My target was a toddler that is a vegetarian.

What was your recipe decision based on?: I chose those recipes because It was vegetarian, it's cooked for 30 mins- or less,

BUT my recipe wasn't chosen because it was over-budget. So we went with Sara's recipe which was " Mini apple and berry crumble"

Explain why we chose the recipe: We all chose that recipe because my recipe was over budget, Joel's one didn't work out, Liz's one was good but it would have been quick to make ( her one was milo flavoured toast and it would take 3 mins).

-Liz's Recipe ( The Milo one)

- Sara's Recipe ( Mini Apple and Berry Crumble)
How does it fit in with the nutritional model or a dinner plate?:
Image result for neutral lunch plate model diagram

It fits in because the crumble topping is made out of oats BUT whereas the inside it's a fruit soo it's a 50% carbs and 50% Fruits.

What changes did we make to the recipe to improve it?:
First time making it: The berries are nice, the crumble was made out of white sugar instead of brown.

Second time making it: The crumble topping was lacking butter and crunch so add a little bit more butter and more oats. The apple crumble was too sweet but as for the berry one, it was perfect and nice. The crumble was made out of brown sugar.

What were the positives of our meal?:
It was easy to bake, the timing of it was good ( meaning it didn't cook for so long)

Conclusion:
In conclusion, I have learnt how to budget, check the nutritional labels, and different dietary needs

Acid Rain - Science

Acid Rain

  1. What is acid rain?:  Acid Rain is when fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and Natural gas escapes through the air to form Carbon and Sulfur dioxide, and Nitrogen Oxides. That will float all the way to the clouds and will blend its molecules into the clouds and when it eventually rains it will turn into Acid Rain.
  2. The diagram shows you that the Factory will release fossil fuels and then the chemicals will blend into the clouds when it eventually rains the rain will turn into acid rain. That will affect the water, building, and the forest around us.
