I wonder why poppies get their colour?
Some rumours say that when the soldiers died on the flowers ( the flowers were white) it stained the flowers and the grass so everything the grass + the flowers grow most of the blood dyes the flowers. Some say that when the soldiers dyed in the Flander fields next to the flowers they took the idea of the flower and made it red. Red is a symbol of Sleep, peace and death (in this scenario)
Poppies are a sign of remembrance in WWI were it was the first flowers to grow in the churned-up earth of soldiers' graves in Flanders in a region in Belgium
Some Countries have different styles of there poppy remembrance.
